I need help modding the game This War of Mine.

I just got the game free from my twitch prime account and I can't add mods to the game because the game is a non steam game because it uses Twitch Launcher to play the game. So is there any way I could add mods from the Steam Workshop to this or am I completly screwed?

Workshop mods only work with the Steam version of the game.

I have looked but the only mods they have are for the steam workshop.

For TESS (Skyrim a.o.) or CIV V & VI there are numerous alternative Mod DL sites. These games (+ mods) are older then Steam is. Steam modders use the alternative sites also becouse Steam mods give problems with Bethesda games since the "payed mods" debacle. And auto-updated mods can become incompattible with other mods so manually installed from other sites they give the user the convenience only to update when convenient. The latter goes double for Ppl with limited bandwith.

A meager harvest. They are also available from the Steam Workshop. Maybe if you would search among the TWoM Workshop mods, you might find a few more alternative sites. It is customary to note them in the mod despcriptions (at least with CIV and TESS)

There's a video on YouTube how to add Workshop mods on a non-Steam Skyrim. Altough questions for other games are asked, no answer is given. And i will not post the link for this actually might be a copyright infringement.
