72GB of no disc space?
I can't get to download a game because it says I have 0MB of disc space, except I can still update my games, and when I go in the settings, it knows that I still have 72GB sooo...
I already tried restarting my computer, and steam, but still nothing...

Steam might still think you have a hard drive installed that has since been removed (usually an external HDD or USB stick).

Open your Steam Client and go to Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders.

Then, right-click the directory that's already listed as 'Default', and select 'Make Default Folder' again.

After that, attempt to install your game.

Let me know if that fixes it.

And what game is it?

Depends on the size of the game. Steam downloads a compressed archive that then installs.
So, you basically need enough space to download the game files archive and then enough space to unpack the files.

So how big is the game you want to download?

risk of rain 2, also tried for payday2, but that's not the problem here.
when I try to download a game, the little pop-up tells me the size of the game, ant my free disc space shows up as 0MB.

I tried cleaning and defrag, ran a mem check and updated my windows, all green, but I still can't download a 2GB game...
