Add a game from epic store to steam.
I recently got Subnautica on epic games but I want to know if it is possible to add the game to my steam library in order to gain the achievements etc, is this possible?

Not without a steam key.

Ask Epic to provide a Steamkey, which they can't.
Or ask the publisher to give you a free copy of the game, which they won't.

Do what Cathulhu says (without luck, probably). Other than that, buy the game on Steam.

You cannot transfer licenses between platforms, no. You bought an Epic games Store license, not a Steam license.

No.

You can add the game as a non-steam product on steam but that's basically just a shortcut.

Literally nothing. You bought a license for the EGS version of the game. It does not entitle you to a license for the Steam version of the game.

It was free so like that i got the game. I saw that with the games of uplay like ac you can do that so i wanted to know if it has a posibiliy of done with the steam.

Ubisoft games must be activated on UPlay.
That's different.
They still need to be launched through EGS or Steam if they were bought on those platforms.

Both the game and the storefront is operated by Ubisoft. It's their own game in their own storefront. So a Ubisoft game bought on Steam or Epic still runs through Uplay.

However, if you buy a Ubisoft game on Uplay, you don't get a Steam key.
