Use PS2 Third Party controller with Rocket League

Hello!

I have tried to set up my PS2 Third Party controller so I could use that with Rocket League.
I have tried to use ScpToolKit (not the newest one, that didn't work at all), I got that to work but my L1 and R1 buttons wasn't useable. I changed some settings, reinstalled and got Steam to recognize my controller as a PS3 controller (dualshock 3 driver in ScpToolKit) - but then Rocket League thinks I'm using a XBOX 360 controller? (which resulted in that my left joystick was used as the cross-button-pad, and the cross-button-tab used as the left joystick.)

Then I get random crashes, "Unhandled Exception" that's about the whole screen (top to bottom long) that I don't know what to do with (this leads to the need of a restart of the computer).

Is there someone who knows more about this? Thanks in advance.

Just emulate the controller as Xbox 360.

I don't get that option, I can only select Dualshock 3, 4 or Bluetooth.

Then find away to emulate your controller as a xbox controller, once you're able to firgur that out, then most of your games will not longer be an issue, and work out of the box as a Xbox controller.

But when emulated to XBOX controller, the left joysick is recognized as the D-pad and vice versa.
