Steam Library games uninstalled but still take up disk space
So yesterday, my 500 GB hard drive full of my steam games disappeared from my computer. This morning when I power it back up, it's back and running, with the normal 130 GB remaining. So I go to steam and try launching a game, but it makes me install it. I know it's installed already, but it keeps making me reinstall. I also can't find my steam files on that hard drive, but my games should be there, otherwise, there would be more available disk space. ( I'm kinda new this so if this doesn't make any sense I'm sorry)

hallo, your games should be, c:/ program / steam / steamapps / common . Maybe if you crashed your computer some how. the games has to be reinstalled. The interesting thing would be is the content of the games still in your steam directory. Or do you have to download it again from the steam server. Check it out. But at the end if you reinstall the games and they are running normally than everything is ok. Or not?

Yeah but I use 2 drives, one of mine is D:/program, but Steam doesn't exist, How this happened, one day my second drive just became unreadable or smthn, my computer said my second drive existed but it give me some type of error saying that its unidentified. I just shut off my PC for the night, next morning it shows up, 130/500 gb remaining, but I have to install all my games, even the steam server didn't recognize it on my pc.

Hey bud, I don't know if you still have this problem but it was same for me. I tried to literally install the game and when I did, it gave me 2 options. 1. Install on C: drive or male new steam library on D: drive and I clicked the second option and EVERYTHING came back.
