Reset Steam Desktop Shortcuts
I accidentally set all of my Steam Desktop Shortcuts to open with WordPad!
I tried deleting one, then added a new one, which means I need to re-establish the opening location. The question is, how do I do it?

Right click on a shortcut. Select "open with", find steam, set as default. Just guessing off the top of my head. Might be other ways to go about it.

no, you open with internet browser, not Steam. if you want to make a Steam shortcut, direct to steam and -applaunch #, steam shortcuts are opened with internet browser
