Filter/Ignore all VR-only titles?

I have eye problems that preclude me from ever using a VR headset. I will literally never play a VR headset game. Is there a way to filter my account so I never have to see a VR headset game in my queue or whatever?

I know Steam wants people to buy games. I don't enjoy being inundated with VR-only titles. I was frustrated today because Valve wasted a ton of development time on a VR-only game (ALYX) that I will never be able to play.

So...Steam. Is there a way to filter my account so if a title is "VR-only" I won't see it, or it won't be recommended to me? If not, perhaps this is something you could integrate into the Steam ecosystem? I can't be the only person who will never play a VR-only game.

Left click your Steam nickname on the top right of the Steam client, you can select the 'Store preferences,' there will be a 'Show Virtual Reality content' checkbox you can use, I'm not sure how far it will works though, but if you think it's not worked enough, you can try the 'ignore tag' I guess

Bad thing is I don't think Steam can tell if it's 'VR-Only' or 'VR-Supported' though, unless there are store tag that did it

Oh, cool, thanks! Yeah, I worry a -little- that filtering "Virtual Reality Content" might filter content that's also non-VR. It would be nice if they had a filter for all VR-ONLY content. I don't mind seeing games that ALSO support VR, but if it just supports VR, I don't want to see it.

Well, on the bright side, if the game really good enough you will heard it eventually anyway xD

I used just to display everything and check what's interesting on the list, but you will only get tons of the weird games when you doing this nowaday xD

I have the the 'Show Virtual Reality content' unchecked and still get tons of VR required crap.
