Is there a way to play a region locked game?

As the title says, friend been telling to play FF14 on steam but i did some searches and it's completely region locked in my country (Indonesia), but it's available in Singapore instead

any way i can somehow change my region to SG to play it?

Did you check if it was region lock for (Indonesia), as in visit Steam store page for the game page, and visit the Square Enix page for FF14?

If it is region lock by both Steam, and Square Enix site, you can try contacting Square Enix asking why it's region lock in your region, and they should provide the answers to you if possible.

The only option you have is moving to the region it's not region lock in.

Won't work and trying to circumvent regional restrictions can get an account permanently suspended or even terminated.

In short we can't help you bypass Steam and Developer restrictions. And any advice less informed people do lob out carries risks to your account, risks they're not concerned about because it's not their account... so tread carefully.
