What games to play with my girlfriend?

I'm looking for a game to play co op with my girlfriend. She doesn't like intense games (like borderlands) and does like card and puzzle games (but open to suggestions). She plays on a macbook (i know) so the game can't be too demanding. Preferable free but cheaper games are also a good suggestion. I know im looking for a needle in a haystack but that's why I ask here.

yu-gi-oh legacy of the duelist: link evolution releases tomorrow or the 24th depending on where you live.

it's the best card game, over 10000 cards all with unique effects, tons of strategy and deck building. $39.99 one time payment no micro transactions.

(not the one that is already released, gotta wait for it to come on steam in a day or two)

I forgot to mention she doesn't like minecraft, too bad because i actually like it :(. Ill take a look at the yu-gi-oh games and ask if she likes that. We tried WE WERE HERE today and she liked it. Its at the limit difficulty wise (she isn't used to playing games) but im glad she liked it. I think portal would be a good option too, never played it tho. Thanks for the suggestions so far

Terraria could be good as well for a sandbox title, but I'm not sure if you guys are into that. (nevermind, you said she doesn't like Minecraft, rip. At least consider it, I suppose)

I play both of those with my boyfriend from time to time. There's more, but I don't think it would fit the style you mentioned.

pls nooooo. the official game is Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist, it has all cards up to now, and you support the developers, emulation doesn't support developers/konami.

all are really fun puzzle games with a "small" amount of horror involved no jump scares or anything just feels like you will be jump scared

i should note the game lasts half as long if you only play 1 role The game has 2 roles and you get the full playtime out of playing both roles
