First time buying something on the community market

Hi,

I want to buy something on the community market but it gives me the following message:
'The account must have a successful purchase older than 7 days, but not older than a year.'

for example: if i buy something random from steam for 0.39 cents and wait 7 days, i'm able to buy something from the community market?

(if anyone knows the cheapest thing to purchase on steam, pls drop the link )

mine is like this too, but my problem not just it.

i've already buy some game in steam store.. but i still cannot buy anything in the community store.. and its say "Your account is limited", what the meaning of this sentence refers to?

can somebody help me out?

It means you haven't purchased enough from store to gain market access ... Did you buy directly from steam store using your debit/credit/paypal account or a physical gift card?

Steam accounts start off limited, with limited functionality, once you spend the equivalent of 5 USD on the Steam store your account will become unlimited and you can use all of Steam's features.

topup steam wallet from redeem code, and i usually buy game with it.. but i dont know why

Just spending steam wallet funds doesn't count. That's store credit.

Adding money to the steam store (i.e. registering a *physical* steam code) does count as a purchase.
