Need help Purchasing a game .

I live in Algeria which is a country that doesn't use credit cards much , i want to purchase a game , my aunt lives in France, is it possible to use her credit card ? if no, is it possible to ask her to create a new account and purchase the game from there and give me the account user name and password ? if no, is it possible to ask her to add me as a friend (since i can't add her) and send me a digital gift card ? if these are all possible which one of these ideas is the best and thank you

I wouldn't recommend it. But ensure that you get her permission 1st, as well inform her about it, also make sure she won't do a chargeback, if she does, your account will be flag, and will have 90 days to return the funds, if not the account will be locked that how it works with those that chargeback.

No account sharing is agasint the TOS, also if you want a way around here best two options for you.

A - Buy a Steam wallet card from your local game store that sell them.
B - Steam wallet gift on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/digitalgiftcards/

If converting the currency it will automatically do it for you, no need to worry about that.

Region lock means what it stands for, means not for that region.

If the product can't be bought in the certain country, she can not gift it to you, nor can she give you funds to buy it as not for sale in your country if ban from your country.

The issue I see is this, since you're providing info to them, which means you're providing your aunt address to them, if the system thinks you're in france, it will change your store on the account to france, which will be an issue, and you need to provide proof that you're from Algeria, by switching it back in your account settings. That kind of the issue you may face.

Steam say that the credit card must be from where you live so it won't accept a card from France, That's the issue . What about the other ideas that i posted ?

I guess they finally added it into their system.

Then do one of the two options I suggest before.

Agasint the TOS, of account sharing. If Steam chooses they can lock the account as well, hence not good idea to begin with.

If she can't gift you the game due to being greater than 10% currency gap between your store, and her store, then she can't gift it to you, but she can still gift you Steam wallet funds, hence what I was saying, as you wouldn't have the problem if it do one of the two options I listed before.

thank you so much, but one last thing, if she sends me a 50$ digital gift card then another 10$ dgc, does the two combine into 60$ in my wallet or each one is supposed to be spent separately ? sorry if i asked too much

Yes, if she give you a $50 gift card code you redeem the code on your account, and $10 by steam wallet gift sent to your account you will have $60.

Please note once the Steam gift card code redeem, it's bound to the account it was redeem on, there's no transfer of funds from Steam wallet to Steam wallet. So if she gets you a Steam gift card, tell her to give you the code so you can redeem on your account by entering in the code yourself on your account. Then she can just send the remaining $10 by Steam wallet gift, which means she need an account in order to send you the Steam wallet funds. She could just get 3x the $20 (3x20=60) Steam wallet gift cards, and give you the 3 codes, and you redeem all 3 codes on your account, this way she wouldn't need to make an account.
