Download Windows game versions with Linux-Steam?
Hello everyone!

I got a Laptop with Linux on it to use at university, while i have a full-fledge gaming Win 7 PC at home.
Due to slow internet at home, i would like to download games with my inux-Laptop but if I do so, can the games be installed on my Windows system or is the Linux-Steam downloading an Linux-Version of games (when available) which is useless on Win 7 when copied?

You can use Proton to download Windows versions of your games.

Proton is the way easier way than having a complete separate Steam install and Wine on top.
