anyone experiencing this too? i cant reply to any of my chats. i tried restarting my steam but it still showing this.

This has been going on for four days now with varying degrees of severity. There has been no word from Valve on whats going on from what I can see.

It would send messages even when the error showed up, now it just doesn't send the messages as well, so it's 100% messed now.

Edit: It only happens when sending messages to specific people. This is insanely bugged.

I'm starting to think steam just can't handle the quantity, or do you get this false error when messaging someone whom you don't chat with a lot?

I couldn't send messages to my boyfriend and to a friend, while messages to all the other people worked fine. Now the error is not happening anymore (at the moment).

I get this message all the time now, even when i'm posting for the first time
in the day... Some people just claim that it's more security measures by valve...

Some security, I just refresh Page, & post anyways, all I see is an annoyance
that causes me to spend more of my day waiting around... When I should be
spending it on other things...


All these little things that causes annoyances in our days, such as STEAM Guard
requiring a code to get to a website, error when posting, too many messages posted,
& such other things... I have patience, I do, but when it comes to these things here,
my patience only goes so far before I loose my patience...

If there is too many distractions, like these so called errors that come up through
my day, i'm less likely to spend my day dealing with them, & more of it else where...

Simple fix for this?

Valve wants to throw curve balls like this at us? Just go somewhere else & post instead...
It's not that hard to create a forum like this... It's quite simple...
You can easily make your own forum in a matter of a few mins., depending
on how advanced you wanted to make it, that is...
