Gaming sensitivity for first person shooters
Hello everyone, i use a mouse with 400dpi, 3360 sensor, no acceleration, from left to right side of my mouse pad, how much should i do in terms of degrees while turning around? Should i look for 180° or 360°?

I've seen a lot of people shouting about this over the years and a lot of strong opinions. Some people seem to argue that "all" the pros use sub 1,000 dpi settings. Other people throw other numbers out. For the longest time I tried to shoot for approximately 1:1 with my horizontal resolution. 2000dpi on my 1080p. 2550dpi on my 1440p.

Although lately I've been happier at 1200 dpi or 1800 dpi depending on the game and how important precise aiming is. Lower DPI does seem to help somewhat in the precision of aiming. High DPI does let you turn quicker and that's probably great for games with a frenetic pace and less precise aiming mechanics. Low DPI does generally let you do an easier job with aiming.

In a game like TF2 I used to play most classes at 3,000 dpi, but I would switch to 2,000 dpi for sniper.

And a lot of it comes down to preference, I haven't been playing too many multiplayer shooters so even if my current preferences are less than optimal I don't need to fight about it.

Indeed, but 180° or 360°? I mean, i don't know, i need more technical information, for a ration about precison and "looking speed", idk if i explained me well...
Well I'm not that person. I've never measured 180° or 360° in my configuration, just whatever felt right in the game or class.

I expect different games favor one or the other.
