My friend list is missing

Anyone havinf the proplem as i do currently? My entire friend list suddenly dissappeared and i dont know how to fix?

I am having a different problem, my friends appear as question marks without names, but only about 6 of em, the rest are okay and activity won't work for some reason...

I have a similar problem as well. On top of that my friends list that was categorized is completely gone, and the listed categories THEMSELVES are completely gone. Not to mention the bar where you drag your friends to for easy chat communication has been completely wiped for me.

Same happened to me. Seems to have happened to everyone. I noticed Steam took a while longer to load today maybe there was some update that screwed with it

Same stuff here. I thought client was acting up because I kept getting an error about messages failing to get sent, so I restarted it only to find that it didn't even want to load my online friends on the list. At least I managed to get online, so hey, that's a plus.

Friends list is back for me, but I still can't send messages. And the chat groups i was in is still not back yet.

weird, i have everything back online already, maybe something is wrong with the servers today

also not only this but my games played hours are gone.
i don't know if something happens if i try to play now, as i don't want to lose half of my life played .

Everything is still tracked on your end and then will sync to the servers at a later time.

Wait until the servers are done having issues.

That's most likely what it is. I created a similar thread too, and most of our problems are the same, but some are worse than the others. Glad to know that your problem's fixed, now to wait for mine to be done with.

I woke up to this.... my whole friends list is gone and when i try to readd someone i get an error
