How to change overlay button?
I know how to change the key combo on my keyboard, but I need to change the controller binding because it's getting in the way.

Go to Steam -> Settings.
Click the In-Game tab.

It should be adjustable from that point.

Yes, that is where I can change the keyboard shortcut. It is not accepting controller input.

I do not think it is meant to unless it can be amended in Big Picture mode.

If it cannot be changed, it should not be set to start with. Setting it on square (ds4)/x (xbone) is a horrible decision, before even considering that it seems that it cannot be changed to something more sensible.

Due to controllers being a plug and play device, it would be regarded as second nature compared to keyboards that are a primary source and are plugged in at all times.

You never know, you can supply Valve with a suggestion or feedback and perhaps they would implement it down the path. Anything is possible.
