Stop Steam from randomly downloading things?
Really, I live somewhere in the World, where UNLIMITED CONNECTION is ranked first for it's SLOWEST SPEED. Check it up in Google. And therefore I get rid of my UNLIMITED CONNECTION and moved to the LTE CONNECTION, which I'm pretty sure isn't CHEAP anywhere in the world. And Steam just randomly download it's freaking update (without NOTICE) which is pretty big (or in other words: EXPENSIVE).

And even when I just turned on my PC and go on browsing (I don't play much) it updated the Dota 2... Again... Today is the update day for freaking 6.8GB Dota 2. Any solution pls?
Like a notice pls or disable completely auto updates that downloads stuff?
I know I can just disable auto updates for every single games, but when you have tons of games..

I've lost in total 4GB LTE Connection.. Where here 1GB cost somewhere around 5 - 6USD (according to currency).

I'm sorry but its either fully on or fully off. You can't selectively decide which games auto update or not. So either have auto updates turned on, or simply turn them off. Also it is very true unlimited connection is very slow, but its because it is very cheap and also very reliable. Still LTE can be expensive depending on where you live and who you go through. Yet, as I stated before you cannot make game updates selective. You have to either have them on auto or manual there is no inbetween.

The best way to do it now, since I didn't realize they removed the turn off option, is to enable download restrictions. The easy way to do it is to go through the client and open the friends window. Then by friends click the small arrow to the right, click settings, then click downloads from the list on the left, and this will open the downloads options. Now on the right if you look you will see something called download restrictions. Enable the restrictions to a time where you wont be using the computer, and if you really want to save on data usage limit the bandwidth to something very very small. Yet, if you really don't want steam updating anything at all then just make sure you're fully exited out of steam durring the "allowed" download times. That way you can download what you want when you want otherwise.
