The second order in the same day not work
Edit: I tried to buy a few dozens and the market sold only one to me then started loading . I saw my steam wallet being depleted of the price of one bag then nothing more.
Tried to buy, it hung, so I closed it. Next I know, my buy orders are on the recent activity list. They were not bought, but is tells me the orders were made.
Navigating through Steam support for a Community Market issue is routing me to support articles instead of allowing me to open an actual Steam Tech Support ticket, so it seems I can't even report the issue outside of posting to this thread.
Try my suggestion posted earlier.
It seems like the Sacks of Gems are a "high throughput" steam market item, getting purchased and sold constantly, meaning the moment you load up their market page, the prices you see there may no longer apply. Using the "Buy" button puts in the lowest price the gems were at the time of loading the page, which per above can no longer be valid, and that's most likely why the purchase "fails" (hangs indefinitely). This is just my personal observation though.
My solution to this was to simply increase the purchasing price per sack by a single cent (or two). I've ran into the issue four times total on two different occasions, and on each occasion increasing the purchasing price of the sack lead to an instant, successful purchase. The downside is that you may end up paying a tiny bit more per sack ("may", the items are always purchased at the lowest available price after all), but I think it's better than not being able to buy them at all.
