Tired of the ♥♥♥♥ policy
Tldr; Request refund for game Sims 3
Denied because I actually tried to spend time to make it work on a pc that it crashes on. Tired of the ♥♥♥♥ policy.

Ok I've dealt with this multiple times and it's seriously starting to piss me off that steam as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about their customers. Instead you give us some copy pasted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ message. I will repeat again as I have every time I've ever been denied for this stupid ♥♥♥♥. I am asking a refund because pc problems happen and this game can't be played on the pc it's used for. Give me an actual human ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ response and I'll let it be. Otherwise I'm not using your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ platform anymore. Yes I understand it's two hours over "refund policy" but every other platform whether it's origin or epic games has always refunded me if I've had issues. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ platform registers games as running even if they have crashed and are still in the background. 4 hours of my life wasted on this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game to get copy pasted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If it doesn't get resolved I'll call if I have to. Good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day.

This is the message I have sent. I've never had a company treat their customers like they are robots. The design here is so poorly based and it pisses me off. We are all human. ♥♥♥♥ happens. Why can we not get someone who can actually take the time to say hey this guy is probably genuine, we can cut it a little slack. Instead it all just goes through a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ machine. I've been denied on multiple games just because I actually tried to make them work because I hate money. I never ask for money back to my debit. I always ask it back to steam wallet. It's not like they are losing a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money.

Cool story bro. There's a refund policy, read it before buying anything and if you don't like it, don't buy. It's simple, huh?

Btw, PC problems are your issue, not Valve's.

Of course you're going to get a copypasted response. They get bombarded with requests all day every day and they can't afford to spend time on personalised responses to each request. It was looked at and you're 2 hours over the allowed limit for trying to make the game work. The refund policy isn't a secret and the requirements are stated clearly for anyone who cares to read up on what they are.

For all they know, maybe you were playing the game the entire time and now you're just making up a story to get your money back. They don't want to open those floodgates.

That's your own choice and your own responsibility. You should have stopoed before the 2 hour mark, not continue till it's 4 hours.

Steam Support can only see the time the program was opened, they can't possibly know whether that's actual playtime. And no, people saying so doesn't cut it, people lie.

If this happens more often, you either need to better look at the system requirements or do something about your PC.
But it's not Valve's responsibility that your PC isn't compatible with, apparently, multiple games.

The refund policy is clear and for everybody. You're not special.

Yep, the rules apply to you. Next time stop playing and refund it. You would think after being denied multiple times due to issues with your PC you'd have learned your lesson.

Special? We are all special. Unfortunately no, we are ordinary and we all get treated as the same.

You just have to understand the refund system and the know-how in terms of justifying a reasonable refund if it is given to you based on a 2hour 14days process.

Naww...... To many hearts to bother reading it....

You never did ask for assistance on the Sims 3 Steam forum.

Why not try that?
