Red artifacts in Steam client images
I have a weird problem with the Steam client which has been there for probably a couple of years now:

As seen in the image the pure black parts are pure red instead. This problem is only visible in the Steam client and not in any other program at all. If I open the Steam website in a browser, there are none of the artifacts. Also, it's only visible in images/thumbnails in the store pages and in the Friends window. It's not currently visible in the Library section, although I seem to remember that it was some time ago.

Interestingly the problem is gone if I run Steam in Windows Safe Mode, so obviously something is running in the normal mode that seem to conflict with Steam. Note that I run all the latest versions of system software and drivers.

Has anyone experienced this and possibly come across a solution or even an explanation?

Thank you so much! GPU Acceleration (for web views) was already enabled so I disabled it and after a Steam restart the issue promptly vanished. To think I've had to live with this for so long...
