Controller acting as mouse?

I use ScpToolkit and Steam(not big picture) to run rocket league with my ps3 controller. However, recently, pressing the x button will show the cursor and then make it disappear.

Further testing shows that pressing X will click as if it were a mouse, and it works in other windows like chrome, and games like rocket league. It doesn't actually press the X button however, which means I can't do much in-game. Its not steam big picture as I have disabled the desktop configuration, and I can even run the game while not in big picture and it still won't work. Any ideas?

EDIT: its now happening without steam or scptoolkit open
