Says outdated
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_Embedded_Framework
So I should just ignore the message saying its outdated?
It's doesn't say it's outdated, it says it's an older version, which is true, Steam is using Chromium 68 and I think the current latest build is 75.
forgive the typo man, im defending my damn base as I post this. I just dont want to be logging my steam in through the steam overlay if its not updated is all Was wondering if anything I can do to update or if its on Steam to do it
https://www.whatversion.net/chrome/
The latest version Steam broswer using that I know of, while i'm on the Steam beta side.
72.0.3626.121
The latest verions Chorme broswer using is 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build)
For version above 73 you need to be on Beta / Dev
Thanks. Chrome in steam is using Your Chrome version is 68.0.3440.106
Chrome outside of steam is using Your Chrome version is 73.0.3683.103
Just not gonna sign into any sites from steam chrome until they update it
To opt in, Steam > Settings > Account > Click the button to change, and select the Beta, and click yes to restart client, and that's about it.
Also I don't think signing into anything will be problem, the issue is when trying to visit sketchy/phishing sites, as those you need to look out for, and avoid those.
