Borderlands upgrade

Just asking outta interest. If i were to buy borderlands (non goty) off of like g2a. Would it auto upgrade itself to the goty enhanced edition?
Pls i need to know

Why would anything "auto upgrade"? If you buy the plain base game, you get the plain base game.

Even those rubbish sites won't sell you auto-upgrading games.

As you can't put the website address in your post you should be aware that the site is known to be dodgy and being actively filtered out. As it's not trustworthy to purchase games from that site. Don't. Avoid it.

And secondly nothing will auto upgrade. The whole point of the different versions is to either have the base game where you buy the extras at a later date, if you want, or base game and all the extras in a single purchase.

Well was mostly wondering cuz in the description it says for those who own birderlands. So i figured "hey didnt specify it needed to be the goty one to automatas lly turn into its enhanced edition even thi i suppose the purchase would be late prior to its intended effect

I bought that Humble Bundle that included all Borderlands game in 2017.
Borderlands GOTY key was only $1.
When Borderlands GOTY Enhanced came out, it automatically appeared in my Library.

The question OP has, will it happen now after Enhanced was released too. Which i doubt. Usually it's a one time gesture and that offer expires with the release of the game.

Here's how to test it:
Buy the GOTY version from Steam.
If you don't get Enhanced version, refund the game.
If you do get Enhanced version, refund the game and buy the key cheaper from the site you wanted.

After posting here, I wanted to see is there any site that currently sells Borderlands cheaper than above mentioned letter-number-letter website.

I just typed isthereanydeal into search bar and this came up

But how did Google knew that I want to see Borderlands on ITAD websitesite when I haven't typed Borderlands anywhere?
I just typed "isthereanydeal" into seach bar, and it showed Borderlands.

When I search "isthereanydeal" now, I see it like this http://prntscr.com/n8mn0q

But that time, Google somehow knew that I wanted to see Borderlands.

Or maybe they've just shown a currently rather popular search considering the Enhanced Edition was released this week. Sometimes coincidence is just that.

I googled ITAD, got Borderlands too. It's just because it's a page that's been getting a lot of hits on that site in that past few days/week.
