To be frank I wouldn't trust the site simply because of how unnecessary it is I'd just assume someone would be using it to fake login requests and hijack accounts.
Gathering your information from Steam ... probably you want to do that manually or let other people do their own manually, for use elsewhere (I think I misunderstood at first, you want this for OFF steam, USING steam's profile info?)
Thank you both for the replys and your insight. Zek I am going to be using it outside of steam and Valve , while using their Corporate Lawyer talk is not affilated with it, does allow them apparently to link here to Steam. Does not mean its safe, just making a observation on that.
Thanks again , I can assemble a PC blindfolded in a deep dark cave, but when it comes to anything to do with Net Code, HTML,PhP and the like I am more lost than last years Easter Eggs !

Thank you ,

Check the forum you use most have topics on the BBCode available or whether they just use HTML explaining how to make a signature. Also as a key a lot of forums have rules on signatures around size, content (no images, only 1 image of X*Y size, etc), and whether you are allowed them at all. You need to know what those are so you can ensure your signature will be fine.
An example tutorial from a random website I found on a search is: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/387413-Making-your-own-forum-signature but search the forum you are wanting to make a signature on first as it'll be more specific to how to do it for that forum.

Yes.
Stuff like can be trivially avoided: log into Steam first, THEN go to the 3rd-party website. If it just asks whether you want to log on with your account, it's not fake. If it asks for username/password, it's fake.
I have spent some time looking into it and its actually a legit and most likely as safe as any thing you log into be it email or other, site we might use daily.
I have though, learned a few things about the the other side of reality ..(or is it Virtual Reality
Cheers !
