Steam needs firewall reset every time I starts my PC
Hi!

Currently I formatted my PC and flashed fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro 64bit (ver. 1809) and I am having all latest drivers and updates. For 2 days Steam and CSGO was running fine but from today I discovered that after exiting my anti-virus which was Kaspersky Total Security, internet does not work for Steam only for which got concerned.

So I uninstalled the anti-virus and from now Steam is not even logging in. Just displaying message "could not connect to steam network" for which I got a temporary solution which is resetting firewall but it needs to be done every time I starts my PC.

The Internet was working fine regardless of anti-virus' presence for all other software and browsers.

Can anyone tell me what is the permanent fix for this?

Uninstall Kaspersky and use Windows' own firewall.

I tried and then the Steam don't work at all even if I gave full access to Windows' own firewall. This issue is only related to Steam.

Run
netsh winsock reset
In an administrative console & restart

Odd. Need more data, what do you mean by "resetting firewall"?

Going to this path : Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Defender Firewall\Restore defaults

and restoring it to default and it works. Also when the firewall is OFF, steam works flawlessly.

Check the advanced settings. Is there any "stuck" rule for Steam there?

All rules for Steam has already enabled and has given full access. What actually do you mean by "stuck" rule?
