DLC for a game bought in different region
Hello. I have the following problem: I bought Civilization 6 in Georgia, which, AFAIK, is region-locked for several games. The I moved to Spain and changed the region to it. I want to buy the DLC for this game, but I'm not sure whether it will be compatible or not. Any ideas where I can check?

P.S. When I googled this question, I stumbled upon a g2a entry, where EU and CIS versions were sold separately, which increased my suspicion that there is the compatibility issue. But since I am registered in the Spanish store now, I don't think it's possible to even buy CIS version from g2a.

Yes it works. I often bought region locked games during holidays and then later bought the DLC in my home Steam store.
Worked every time so far.

Also, region locked games lose all their restrictions after being 90 days in your library.

Edit: Only thing i dont know if it works for games that are also language restricted. Like some Ubisoft titles that only offer Russian/Chinese languge. Never bought any of those.
Could be that normal DLC are not compatible there.

Try purchasing it. It won't hurt to try.

Nah, the language is not a problem, it is in English. Thanks for the answer.

Also, are you sure about the 90 days thing? I never checked.
