Window 10 and Steam url.'s
Why don't windows 10 regognise the url's that are created on desktop after installation?. They appear all white, and nothing happens when you click em. I had to go to the game installation folder and choose the game shortcut there after windows asked me to choose a program to start the game in.

Double check the default settings for .URLs

From the Window's start menu, type in "file type". There should be an option labeled Choose Default Apps By File Type. Alternatively
Settings > Apps > Open Default App Settings (down at the bottom) > Choose Default Apps By File Type

Scroll down until you find the listing for .URL and make sure it is set to use Internet Browser. Not a specific browser
