They are done in bulk and usually get rolled out after every Tuesday server maintenance cycle.
Game installs/uninstalls also trigger the batch updates.
The only option is that they don’t check for them automatically in the background
But everytime you launch the game it checks for updates and deploys them
You can’t disable updates forever
@HotSauce Yeah the update I saw was from weeks ago where it was pending and waiting for me to launch the game. It had been like this for some time, but just forced itself to update yesterday just from logging into the launcher. Basically overriding the basic function setting "only update when game launches" like I said above. I should be able to defer these updates as long as I like so long as I don't click "Play" from the launcher.
