Error 11 during trade
Hi. I was trading today and error 11 occured but the trade went thru. With a difference that our items were gone and we didn't received what we traded. We just lost items. Any explanations?

Error 11 is invalid item state. Would happen if for some reason the item someone intends to trade was unavailable, like if it was traded away while the trade was set up.
Can also be the result of one of the usual server hiccups.

This should be no reason that your items have disappeared like that though, especially if you did not even reach the point of email or mobile confirmation.

As you say, this was the first time, you did trade, you might have overlooked something else. Could your trade be on hold for example?

Well the point is I reached the moment of mobile confirmation. I clicked ok and then error 11 occured but after like 5 seconds when it refreshed there was a message where it was written that I have no more things to confirm and we good boi

He sent me this:

1 trade on hold
Trades that are on hold have been accepted by both parties and will complete by the date specified on each trade offer. If you did not make these trades or wish to cancel them, you can do so by cancelling all outstanding trades (both those on hold and pending). Cancelling outstanding trades will begin a 7 day trade cooldown.
CANCEL ALL OUTSTANDING TRADES

That's what you want to know. The trade went through, but is still held back, a security measure for email and new mobile users to ensure, their items don't get stolen in scams. When checking your held trades, you can see, how long they are still on hold (most holds last 15 days, under specific circumstances 24 and 48 hour holds can occur too).
As long as a trade is held, the items of both sides are removed from their inventories. Nothing to worry about, your stuff will be there in two weeks.

That means the trade is on hold, you'll get your items when the hold ends (15 days after the trade has been accepted).

Ok that's what I thought. Thank you for confirmation. Btw. Will the next trades have the same problem or is it just the first and a last time?

When you have your mobile authenticator activated 7 (full) days without interruption, the trade hold is removed (until you remove or change it).

To add on what Jerry said, the holds will be removed on new trades only, trades already being held will continue till the timer expires.
