Rumble doesn't work with "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" enabled
I'm not sure if this is the right forum. I think it's a missing feature, or possibly a bug, instead of a problem that I need to solve.

I have a rumblepad 2, which is a directinput controller. In some games it works flawlessly right out of the box, but in other games it doesn't. In order to get around this, I have two methods. The first is to use x360ce(which only works in windows) and the second is to enable "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" in steam. Both methods make the games treat my controller like an xbox 350 controller. However, the rumble usually works with x360ce, but it generally never works with "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support." Note that I have "Rumblepad preference" set to "on" in the "preferences" for the controller, in the controller settings.

Also, I've tested this in both windows and linux. In games where the controller works out of the box, the rumble works fine, unless "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" is on where it doesn't work.
