merging 2 accounts

I had an account and bought some games, as one would do, then later changed some info and started another account and has been my main account ever since. I have family shared it to link but those are my accounts and would like them all on one, so not have to relog everytime to get achievements etc. i have 2 games on there nearing 300hours and a good chunk of achievements but they don't count on this account and they should. i would pay for someone at Steam to merge these 2, and get my achievement and stats over to my new account. is this possible somewhere i haven't seen ? thank you.

i don't see what the big deal is. you can already share the accounts. why not just put them all on one. seems like saving alot of server space with all the linking and other information not being used. has to be a way to do this. what abuses to this are not coming to me either. what is the big deal they are trying to prevent ? thank you.

Abuse possibility is a basic simple one somebody gets access to your account and then merges it into theirs. Your account no longer exists for you to reclaim and they have full control over what you had.

As for there being a way to do it it's not just about the possibility to do it it's about the risk that would be involved and the scale of the effects it would have when something went wrong.

ok but i use the same email for both accounts and have verified both with it. Steam has a proof of ownership package you have to complete if want to close an account so they can prove its you. hell ill drive down there to the offices and prove its me. nobody been playing that other account much. i haven't given it out , there should be no even hints of abuse . im a faithful and happy steam customer. this is just an little thing id really like to tidy up. smh.

You can drive to their offices a million times, your accounts are still not going to be merged.

yes i read all that, and will still use steam within the TOS i signed up for, that doesn't stop me from wanting something that should be doable. they need to look at it, and if nobody says anything, they won't !!! don't want to hear me rant a bit, you don't have to read these posts. move along.

didn't realize that happens with Steam . i don't socialize on here so that is probably why. I've been hacked in my WoW account long ago so not completely naive to the idea. Thank you Satoru.
