Friend's gift code says it was already redeemed.
Bought my friend DOOM for his birthday months ago and apparently when he tried to redeem his code it would not let him.. He said it is telling him the code was already redeemed. I've tried getting in contact with steam but all I get is automated crap. Has anyone else had this issue before? I just want my friend to receive his gift

Steam does not sell game keys.

Talk to support where he bought the key from.

I had to dig far back through my emails from steam to find out why. Apparently he took too long to accept the gift and it was canceled automatically. I half hoped trying something new would help him with his overwatch addiction.. apparently he couldn't put OW down long enough to click the accept button lmao

So, it wasn't a key/code.

After 30 days, the gift is auto refunded if not accepted.

Yeah, that's just what he told me... I've never accepted a gift on steam so I didn't know at the time =/
