how to delete your achievements with S.A.M (steam achievement manager) for good?
Is there any way to do that with sam? cause, I tried, but they still remain in my steam profile's main page showcase (you can check my profile and see how weird it look like), though there are no achievement in general stats )

Remove them from your showcase.

It can't be done actually, and that is a problem - it's a showcase of RARE achievements, they fill automatically ) So technically I do not have these achievements anymore on my profile and I can't add them to a regular achievements showcase, but yet they are here in the rare one. Is this some kind of a bug maybe?

Define "bug". I wouldn't be surprised if the showcase doens't have code to check for removed achievements because removing achievements simply isn't supported.
You can try removing the showcase and adding it back in later, that may cause it to refresh.

It is supported by the way and this is the most weirdest thing. I had 3k+ achievements for game Hentai girl, right? There's was a total number here indicated in the showcase, but when I deleted these achievements with sam, the number hasn't changed. Then I decided to do the same thing with Mirror game and when I stored the 100% achievements from Mirror the counter of the achievements in the showcase went back to normal - 288+ achievements. So my guess is that sam still can delete the achievements by replacing them with the ones from the other game.

It is not supported. There's no code on Steam to officially delete achievements. As such, it's safe to assume that the code paths getting exercised when achievements get deleted aren't tested in that scenario so weird stuff happens.
You have two options:
1. Don't do unsupported stuff
2. Deal with unsupported stuff triggering weird behaviour

If it was supported you wouldn't have to download a 3rd party cheat app to remove achievements would you?

I don't see how it's connected - you can install 3rd party software for any of your game from the web, not only from steam - language packs, modes, steam enhancers, etc. And if something exists in steam, doesn't mean there's no software or tool to remove it

It's a common mistake, and an unfortunate one at that. We have a lot of people in our company that "develop" software by looking at the source code of other components to figure out what to do, rather than just reading the manual. Or, even worse, they find that something isn't described in the manual, and start looking at the source to find out how to do it.

In software development, you develop against documentation, not against implementation. Anything that's not described in the documentation doesn't exist -- and, more importantly, it can change any time.

"SAM" is pretty much the same thing. I'm sure they haven't read the Steam API documentation and followed the path described there to delete achievements, because said documentation probably doesn't describe this at all. And because it's not documented... it's not supported, and SAM is a hack.

That's the point, removing achievements doesn't exist in Steam. It's not supported, it's not tested. Expect weird ♥♥♥♥ to happen when you do unsupported things.

well, it doesn't work like on 100% of it's potential, but yet it does something. I don't know how to explain the fact that when I delete the achievements in this program, the counter of the achievements changes in my showcase.
I saw a couple videos on youtube when people show how easy it is to delete all achievements, but when I start digging, it turned out sam's delete features kinda fake or at least don't work properly, that's why I decided to create a topic)

you can use "invert" option from SAM
AmsterdamHeavy Dec 13, 2019 @ 4:11am
You can "delete" the achievements for the game, but you cant delete the record of them from the Steam database.

Thats what youre running into. Because the record of achievements cannot ACTUALLY be deleted.
 KARR™ Dec 13, 2019 @ 4:22am
Removing achievements IS supported by Steam.

The ISteamUserStats API contains an entry to remove Achivements from an account:

bool ClearAchievement( const char *pchName );

and this is probably what SAM is doing. Although by Valves own wording

This is primarily only ever used for testing.

Although it doesn't say they CAN'T use it, some games do have it on their "admin menu" (such as Prison Architect - where the admin menu is now available to the general public) but i can't think of any that actually have it in the game itself as a standard feature.

It can be deleted. I have tested. How are we going to do?

Open the SAM program > Select your game > Remove the achievements you want to remove > Save > Remove one of the open achievements > Save > Reopen the open achievement you removed > Save (This is the last action. For example, if you are going to do it in more than one game, remove all the achievements. In the last game these steps Do it, all will be updated.Think of it like this: You can update the achievement list (in the Perfect Games section) when you get achievements, so remove the achievements you don't want/open the one you want and save it. It will be.
