Wrong discount subtotal (less than 5€ in discount.. every time 5€ discount is applied)
So I have:

Subtotal: 29,95€
We've applied your 5,--€ discount to this purchase: -5,--€
Discounted Subtotal: 26,98€
Total: 26,98€

It should be 24,95€

Why does it calculate discount wrong?

Again: 35,47€ in total.
Discount for 5€ gives me a new total of 32,95€

Why do you cheat me on discount? D.

the discount is for 5 US dollars, not 5 euros or other currencies... otherwise it would be really unfair to ppl in like countries where they spend like thousands of currencies on things we spend $60 on.

Then they should be clear not to put bloody euro sign but dollar sign instead. From the homepage: ''Add an additional 5,--€ discount to your next store purchase.''. The ''€'' sign also repeats in the checkout menu

Mine defo says Pound not Dollar (Add an additional £5.00 discount to your next store purchase.)

did you add taxes too? tbh, I haven't bought anything so I don't know but maybe if your region does taxes, it's added on after

But does it calculate right when the discount is applied? Neither mine in € nor Tuluum's discount in $ apply the right discount. We get less.

Steam always manages to make me feel like a cheapskate anyway lol always waiting for the sales.

Im hiding in my safety blanket until this is resolved

I was taking the numbers from the final screen, where taxes are added on. I would imagine it is something like that, but it says taxes = $0.00

Ill probably just ring it up anyway, but save that couple dollars enough times over and you could have $300 quadrillion dollars.

Contacted support.. waited a bit after their answer and tried purchasing again. 5€ were discounted as they were supposed to.

When the sale started, Steam were advertising A$8 off for A$45 spend, but I ended up with a A$7.50 discount instead. I notice the main page now says $7.50 today instead of $8, but I did wonder why the false advertising at the time. I know, it's only 50c, but I could have spent that on a dozen or so trading cards on the market... Actually, I did just buy 6 for 27c. :)
