Well that's cute, but that won't work forever and when it stops working, what then? XP and Vista users made up less than a half a percent leading up to support sun-setting and it's been months since support ended. This is really just a novelty look-what-I-did solution, not a practical solution.

I mean good luck to anyone who's desperate or grateful to this, seems like a lot of effort to keep running dated OS'es though.

Ok. So ill explain the video for the users who may be struggling.

This image shows what it is supposed to look like when your done.

1. As the video says, start by overwriting your steam folder with a old backup.
   
   
2. Make a shortcut of the steam.exe and put the shortcut where ever you like.
   
   
3. Your gonna need to Right click on the shortcut you just made and click on properties.
   
   
4. A small window will pop up, in it you will see a text field with the word "Target:" next to it.
   
   
5. What you wanna do is copy this: -noverifyfiles -nobootstrapupdate -skipinitialbootstrap -norepairfiles -overridepackageurl
   
   
6. You want to then paste that into the target field AFTER the this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe". Make sure you include a space after the last quote before pasting in that line above.
   
   
7. Once you have done that, click apply, close steam and then launch it through the shortcut.
