Valve Games Won't Start In Steam (Linux)

Hello, I don't even know if this is the right spot but... I'm running Linux Mint 19 (Basicly Ubuntu 18.04) With a MSI RX580 GPU I can not seem to get CS GO, Portal, & Counter Strike Source to launch. I click play and then is says "running" but then says "sync" then does nothing it seems like it has self closed or failed to start completely. I tried running steam with terminal and I dont get anything but this Error that I can not replicate "crypto.cpp (1879) : Assertion Failed: rsaKey.IsValid()" the games are installed on a USB 3.0 Drive with a EXT4 Partition) I have the latest Mesa Drivers installed along with the Vulkan SDK for proton I am running steam in beta

Thanks if anyone has any idea whats going on. P.S. the games in question worked before on both NTFS & on the main system drive)
