You will have to consider upgrading to a newer operating system like Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, or purchasing a newer, more powerful PC as a whole; preferably a budget gaming PC.

I would like to let you know that the client beta thing on shortcuts fixed it for me when i first encountered it.
Is there any way like i can get older versions of Steam then?
After -clientbeta client_candidate have many updates and after this error repeats: "failed to load steamui.dll"

At least get 7 or something. 10 would be good but holy ♥♥♥ is windows 10 annoying.
Np man I understand the frustration it caused, my newest computer broke on me and I don't have the money to fix it atm so I'm using my old vista machine so I feel the pain.
How does Steam allow users with Windows XP software to be downloaded and to be installed and to fail when attempting to launch ?
I had no steam games purchased not until about one year and months ago, and since Counter Strike meets the requierments to launch I installed Steam and now I am getting the same problem these guys have, " Failed to launch steamui.dll...
I had a computer with Windows 10, a legal non pirated copy and ran steam and its games with no problem at all, now I would like to ask did they announce the closure of support for Steam app to operating systems below Windows 7 ?
