It's the setup to a scam. He'll send you to a "fake admin" next who will try to trick you into sending him your items. Block, report and ignore.
If one has the time and mood for it, wasting the time of scammers is always a good choice. Let them explain stuff slowly and mutliple times for you, give them false infos, pretend technical problems, make up excuses for them to wait longer, get into small talk, switch to languages or slang they are likely not familiar with...
There's a lot of choices, and as long as they have to talk to you, they can't go after others. As long as you don't give out real information and don't click links, there's nothing to stop you from having fun at their expense.
Losing one of their hundreds accounts doesn't hurt them half as much as losing half an hour on what increasingly appears like safe catch to them.
