Problem using debit card

Hi, I tried to buy a game today using my debit card, I entered the long number, the date and the 3 digit number on it's back, but it's not working, the bank sent me a security error message,
Usually I use a 4 digit security key that is not typed on my card, where can I input this key in steam?

Using Cards online you don't, EVER, need to enter the cards Pin code. You enter the name on the card, Long card number, and 3 digit from the CVV on the back and maybe the Expire Date. Maybe the address the card is registered to but never the Pin code.

What Security error did you get?

I got a message saying 'SECURITY ERROR DURING', now I'm at the bank waiting to ask them why.

- Is your bank an option at check out? If not, then they don't support your bank at check out.

- If your card not authorized to use online, that be why.

- If you need Visa / Master card to be link to your debit card, that be why you can't use it online.

As already said, you don't enter your security code ever online.

As already said, you don't enter your security code ever online.

Thank you, my card is not authorized for online use, the bank said I can get a separate one for online use.

There is also Pay Pal very safe way and you get buyer protection. Consider Pay Pal after you get this online card you can use that to setup with Paypal
