Certain game save files going to the wrong drive on my PC
Currently I got an SSD and HDD on my pc. I have steam installed on my SSD, and I have it setup so that my games default installation area is on my HDD. Then theres certain games like Fallout New Vegas and TWD games where the save files are stored in the "My Documents" folder and they automatically save to the SSD version of the folder, not the HDD folder where I want them to be. I can move these files to my HDD folder, but anytime I start up one of those games it automatically recreates the save file folders on the SSD. Anybody know how I can permanetly have these save files be on my HDD and not my SSD? I already changed the W10 setting where new documents save to my HDD but that hasn't worked.

I ran into the same problem myself. Some games require the same drive as the operating system. I decided to upgrade my SSD to a 1TB. It doesn't last like a HDD, but it is faster. I can only suggest you install the operating system onto your HDD or upgrade your SSD. (Do not put the OS on both drives. You'll create a critical error.) Sorry I can't help more.
The os writes a lot, and what does it actually save in time to have the os on the ssd?
Steam definitely doesnt need to be on an ssd.

Games which use the documents folder use the one of the os. If you worry about these savefiles, you dont want to know how much windows writes all day on your ssd.
