Quick short term workarounds that you'll need to change back and forth each time you play those games otherwise others will be too bright.
Modify brightness on your Monitor.
Adjust it in Nvidia Control Panel in the Adjust Desktop Colour Settings or AMD's version.
Right click each game and View forum.
Mew darkness could be related to drivers needing updating for the gpu.
Do you have the GeForce Experience you can use it to optimize your games using the driver ready.
How your monitor handles the graphics settings.
V-Sync On
Have a look in any of the game settings adjust gamma option or consider changing for a new monitor.
