Where's Busy status?

Since the Steam update. I've noticed that 3 other status options aren't available anymore. Particularly Busy status.

I want to make sure that my friends can see that I'm busy and that I can't chat while I'm busy. But I see no "Busy" status option to change to.

Please bring back "Busy" status. Or revert Steam back to former chat options.

The other 2 status options that are missing are, "Looking To Trade" & "Looking To Play". Why were they removed for too?

They've already brought back Do Not Disturb and Offline in the beta client.

As for the other ones, who knows.

Steam > Settings > Set Taskbar Preferences
put a check mark next to Busy
Right click on the Steam icon in your task bar and select Busy. There does not appear to be a setting for Looking to Trade/Play with the new UI.

You can also switch back to the previous UI.
Create a Steam shortcut and add

-nofriendsui

to the end of the Target field. When you use that shortcut to start Steam, your friends list will be almost identical to the previous version, including the drop down menu with Busy and Looking to Play/Trade

If you want Steam to start automatically while also disabling the new FriendsUI, put that shortcut into

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

I've checked that option. Busy taskbar option is already checked but isn't showing in the Friends dropbox menu.

If you want it in the dropdown box, either use the old UI or use the Beta client. The Taskbar Preferences settings do not influence the Friend's List.

I don't use beta though nor am I feeling confident of messing with UI config files.

But does the "Do not Disturb" tickbox actually change anything on their end? If all it does is silence notifications - then you have a lot of people who think you are ignoring you.

Yes its fukcing impossible to play multiplayer fps games atm, i constantly dies couse ppl type to me and the chatwindow pops on top.
And the help abouse does not help,. i can not find the options to put busy on in the client.
