Disappointing to see no interest shown by Valve.
Why Valve should make a service than has a problem with service providers all around the world? why other messengers don't have this problem?
people having this problem are from US, Canada, India, Middle east, Europe and Australia.
Microphone works litreally everywhere else.
Forwarded all the ports Valve says it uses for Voice in my router and it still does not work.
No issues found when using that WebRTC test website.
Has anyone fixed or resolved this? I have the same issue, my ISP changed the router because of a Fiber upgrade and now Steam Voice Chat wont work. If I hotspot to my phone it will work - any thoughts.
In my case the work around I did was I have 1 AD/DA and amp driving my speakers, headphones etc (Antelope Orion) [this used to be able to do voice input on Steam, even when it was not working on Steam it worked EVERYWHERE else]
Have a second AD/DA / amp doing the microphone (RME Babyface)
It's a dumb work around that shouldnt have to be done... but it "works"
sigh...
