Steam New Voice chat not working - Says connecting.
Below are the logs from the connection. Its failing to connect on voice chat with everyone but that is with one service provider but the others are working fine.

(VoiceChat) Still trying to connect to voice chat/webrtc None(0) 60007ms elapsed...
(VoiceChat) Failed leaving voice chat with 168869011

So i tried it on a different service provider works fine there. Need to understand whats wrong here to get it fixed on the current service provider. While performing test on Working and not working service provider i don't find any difference in the below test for webRTC.

https://test.webrtc.org/

Any help is appreciated.!!

I have the same problem. It was working fine a day ago however I changed my internet provider and from now on I can't call anyone or group call, it always says connecting. I tested it with my modem and it worked fine I wonder what's the problem..

I am waiting for a fix or any directions on this as well.

Been having this problem for a week now, weird even Valve staff in the beta forum or here don't even confirm that this problem exists at least and that they are trying to fix it. huge number of people have this problem btw

well i've heard this issue relates to service provider, ive checked on a different service provider works fine there, not exactly sure what is the problem. All the checks go through for the test in https://test.webrtc.org/ , Which apparantly is the test portal for WebRTC requirements.

Disappointing to see no interest shown by Valve.

It's not a problem with WebRTC when Discord which uses the same WebRTC protocol always works fine but only the new Steam VOIP has problem.

I'm having this issue too. Can't seem to make a connection to another player in voice chat. Any idea how to fix?

I'm bumping this, even if this is a service provider issue, it needs to be addressed by valve.

Why Valve should make a service than has a problem with service providers all around the world? why other messengers don't have this problem?

people having this problem are from US, Canada, India, Middle east, Europe and Australia.

Change your router, it's a forwarding issue, not easy to solve in every router, I've fixed it by forwarding all the ports that steam declares to use

Can't use voice chat either after the UI update.
Microphone works litreally everywhere else.

Forwarded all the ports Valve says it uses for Voice in my router and it still does not work.

No issues found when using that WebRTC test website.

Has anyone fixed or resolved this? I have the same issue, my ISP changed the router because of a Fiber upgrade and now Steam Voice Chat wont work. If I hotspot to my phone it will work - any thoughts.

I had opened up a support ticket, Steam support wasn't helpful with this issue.

In my case the work around I did was I have 1 AD/DA and amp driving my speakers, headphones etc (Antelope Orion) [this used to be able to do voice input on Steam, even when it was not working on Steam it worked EVERYWHERE else]
Have a second AD/DA / amp doing the microphone (RME Babyface)

It's a dumb work around that shouldnt have to be done... but it "works"

sigh...
