My steam UI is totally messed up since the update

All of the upper menus are on one side, and can't be clicked.

Okay, so it turns out my skin can't be used anymore. That's messed up. I don't like the new update.

Create a shortcut of the program and add "-nochatui -nofriendsui" to the properties of the file. It should look something like this...

Simply re-launch Steam and it'll bring most of the old UI back.

Sry, that dosn't work for me, maybe i do something wrong but i always get a
"Problem with Shortcut
The name XY(Steam folder) "-nochatui -nofriendsui" specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure that the path and the filename are correct"

add a space between the " and the - so it should look like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -nochat -nofriendsui
