Steam offline mode trick!Works

So I came into an offline area wich means I had my pc but no internet.I googled if that can couse problems with steam and there was a lot of things about offline mode and that you need to turn it on before going offline.Well that is 50/50 true.I read many solutions of how to start offline in offline and everything,was really scared.Then when I got to my pc,started steam,logined and saw that a window appears with few options and one of then was to start it in offline mode and that cheered me up.Early this night as always I started my pc and as routine did everything I do.Started steam,typed my password and a window saying no internet connection showed up.Was really confused,I didnt get that window since im in offline about 30 days.Looked all solutions,believe me all of them.But none of them is working,neither the one with properties and -offline typing.Except one,the phone internet and usb cable trick.Basicaly what you do is first conect your pc to your phone internet(you can do it wirelesly if you have wifichip on your pc).

Android only(sorry IOS :()
1.Plug the cable in the phone and in the pc(back usb entries)
2.Find on your phone
'Mobile hotspot tethering'
and enable USB tethering

Now you should have internet on your pc.Now with internet you can open and log in into your steam account.After you did that do this:

1.In top left open the first small window(should say Steam).

2.Look for Offline mode or Go to offline mode.

This worked for me.Hope it works for you. :) :) :).
