No Sound in some games
I have had a lot of problems over time with games that are starting to lose sound entirely.
the following games are the games that I have completely lost sound in.

Steam:
Broforce
Cannon Brawl
Cuisine Royale
Duck Game
Forts
Hotline Miami 2
Quake Champions
SCP: Secret Laboratory
Serious Sam 2
Shellshock Live
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds

Non-Steam
Escape from Tarkov

GeForce Experience installed
Audio and video drivers up to date

I have same thing, and same titles are affected.

Windows 10 Home
REALTEK HD Audio
or BLUETOOTH Audio
no sound in these games at all
Thank me later!
No sound bug resolved.

I have found this solution on other forums:
There is a conflict between Sonic Studio III (packaged with some ASUS products) and Windows 10 version 1803. This is likely because Sonic Studio III includes features for redirecting audio from applications to different physical audio outputs and Windows 10 version 1803, which was released recently via windows updates, provides similar functionality. Even without redirection enabled in either, there is still a potential for conflict just by having them installed together.

Remove Sonic Studio III completely by going to Windows Key > Windows Settings Icon Settings > Apps and uninstall Sonic Studio III. Then restart Windows. You may have to remove the entire ASUS Sonic Suite (but not the ASUS/Realtek drivers).

I had the issue with my MSI computer, but I figured out how to solve it. My issue, however, had to do with Realtek audio. My computer does not have Sonic Suite.

The way i fixed it was going to:
This PC > C: Drive > Program Files > Realtek > Audio > HDA > RtkNGUI64

After opening the menu, click the first tab that says "Sound Effects" and turn on Loudness Equalization and close the menu. You may need to restart and do the same thing if the problem persists. This is the way that I have done it, so if it doesn't work for anyone else, I got nothing.
It seems in the end it is caused by some legacy audio processing function that is conflicting with new way Windows 10 does things after recent updates. Thanks for replying! Hope this thread helps people. I have found yours while troubleshooting my issues, and was realized the same titles you have listed were affected. GG! I have managed to restore audio in my games except Quake Champions, unfortunately.
