Reading Steam crash dump files
I've been having issues with SteamVR and Steam itself crashing sometimes during VR. I didn't see anything relevant looking in the logs, but I did find what look like crash dumps in Steam/dumps folder. However the text is all just gibberish. Is there a way or some program to allow me to read these files myself?

Perhaps you can use this program for it

Dumpchk

Just have a look for it in the net and i think this could be helpful to you.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the program is mostly used in connection with the windows dump files to read. But it should work with the steam dumps either.

EDIT 2: Checked it for myself. Dumpchk was used under Win XP to 7. Windows 10 related dumps can be read via BlueScreenView

Just have a look for it via google

BlueScreenView doesn't appear to work for Steam crash dumps. When I try to load the file nothing appears. Everything is just blank.

I was however able to analyze and read the file using Debugging Tools for Windows.
