HELP!!!!! 360/XBox controller drifting own it's own
Don't know why but whenever in Steam my 360 controller seems to drift. It's all over the place. And it's not the controller because it's brand new. And I even tried another brand new controller. This problem seems to have just started within the month. This sucks because the only way I game is with a controller. And if Steam can't fix this I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Which would be a shame. Because I like Steam & like playing a lot of Keyboard & mouse games on controller. And with there Steam overlay it's nice to be able to check out ton of non controller games. But even when in Big Picture mode the controller drifts. And I'm not even playing a game yet. I sure could use any help to fix

A lot of times it can be faulty controller such as a bit of dirt inside it. However, if it is new, it could be Steam settings. Go to the top left of the Steam client, click on Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings. If Xbox Configuration is selected, unselect it. This stopped the drift for me.

I'm having the same issue with my controller. It's not the controller as it works fine on Xbox and Windows!
