Can I download instead of stream?

I've just installed Steam onto another pc (both in my home). My library of games is there, butI have no download button, only a stream button. How can I download these games to [play on the new computer?

What are the system specs of your computer?

Win 10, 16 gig ram, tons of HD space. All the specs are good for the games

ok. Figured it out- the small arrow to the right of the stream button. Click "this machine" then the button changes to "install"

I don't have an arrow/option to choose 'this machine'. I'm on a Mac. Any suggestions?

1. Don't necro such old threads.
2. Make sure the game has a Mac OS version.
3. Make sure it is a 64Bit version that runs on a current version of Mac OS.

Found a solution, for me it worked when I closed steam on my other computer, the button for streaming disappeared and I could install the game/software

Or you could have used the solution the user found about 1.5 years ago.

That solution does not work. There is no arrow

I'm having the same issue. Why is steam dictating where I can install and play my games? That's why I bought it on Steam. I have no option to install on my Mac. Not cool.

So you're complaining that steam can't install something that doesn't exist. Maybe educate yourself first, before you complain.

Well, had you posted "Hey guys, why can't I install No Man's Sky on my Mac?" instead of what you did post, you would've gotten a nice reply. Reap what you sow kind of thing. You started pissing on a service I like because you couldn't be bothered to take the two seconds I took to google "no mans sky mac 64bit".
