Red dead redemption 2 Remote play
Hi,

I bought RDR2 on epic game store.
Is there anyway to play it via Steam remote play Feature? Would it Help to link my Steam Account to the epic or Rockstar Account? And how does that work? I guess I will need to get RDR2 to Pop up in my Steam library?

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

RDR2 is not available on Steam so linking it would be an issue.

No details regarding Steam release and what features it may support.

My response was RDR2 is not available on Steam which at this point in time is accurate.

As for remote play, RDR2 is a single player game, with an online element and requires the Rockstar Launcher and Social Club to be installed which would remove the need for remote play.

My response was to this;

Add it to your library as a non-Steam game and start it from Steam. I played Mine craft remotely this way.
Hi,

thanks for your answers.

I'm not sure why the social club and rockstar launcher requirement would remove the need for the remote play Feature. Maybe I should've explained it better.

I want to use the remote play Feature to stream the game so I can play it from another device.

I wanted to play it on my surfacebook 2 in my bedroom so I dont have to sit at my desk in the living room. And I want to use my xbox Controller. It works fine with every game in my Steam library but since I bought RDR2 from the epic store it does not Show up in my Steam library.

So my question is if there is any way to stream non Steam games to another device within my homenetwork AND use the Keyboard (or in that case Controller) pluged into the device Im streaming to?

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks you.

Thats what I was thinking. But how do I add it to steam? I guess I need the key and then add it via the "add none Steam game" Button

(not sure if it is called that way in the english version of steam)

1) Remote play is not listed as a feature on the Steam Store page for RDR2.

2) The only way I can think of is via an Nvidia Shield but others may have other suggestions.
